Creative Drama
Drama develops a child's literacy, creative thinking, and cooperation skills. In Creative Drama, students will take adventures to new and exciting places. Participants will explore the world around them through role playing, storytelling, improvisation, and character work. Older students will work together to up together a short play. On the last day of each class, we open the class up to the whole family for an informal sharing session.
School Kids in Drama
SKiD is a new program that is jam-packed full of everything a budding actor needs. Go through the audition and rehearsal process, work on character development and collaborative work. Perform a series of short plays and monologues. You will become comfortable on the stage with the skills you learn here.
Readers Theatre
students taking this course will learn new skills in storytelling using little more than their own voices! Reader's Theatre is a simplified style of theatre. We take away a lot of the “extras'' often used in theatre, leaving just the story.
